“The Rival R176P08 is an absolute gem of a mid-woofer with its excellent linear and smooth response. It has so much to offer in terms of midrange clarity while still offering the ability to play deep and controlled. The ScanSpeak R2604/8330 dual ring radiator tweeter is a great sonic match to the Rival woofer and the generous overlap in flat response between the two is excellent! The crossover uses a 2nd/3rd order electrical topology that crosses at 1.95Khz.

Upon listening to my “go-to” tracks, I was instantly immersed in the sound-field. The integration is spot on. Bass is smooth and controlled. Imaging is just as it should be without my head needing to be in a vise! These are a great sounding 2 channel mains that will never fatigue over extended listening.
